This classic massage employs long soothing strokes to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and increase mobility; leaving you in a deeply relaxed, stress-free state. The perfect “body, mind, spirit” treatment to maintain good health.
Combinations of various massage modalities are used to address specific concerns, including back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, sciatica, and other muscle involved issues.
Combining traditional massage techniques, with stretching and weight counterbalancing, Shiatsu promotes self-healing, and encourages greater harmony of energy. Pressure is applied to specific zones of the body located along the acupuncture meridians. This treatment brings about a sense of relaxation while stimulating blood & lymphatic flow. Come prepared wearing loose fitting, comfortable clothing; as Shiatsu is practiced fully clothed on a padded mat, on the floor.

She has worked with various musicians at these events, including Michigan native, Dixon David Hammond (Dixon’s Violin).
Her plans for the future include continuing education in the areas of Shiatsu, Ashiastu (backwalking), Thai Yoga Massage, and Ayurveda, which is an Eastern method of diagnosing and treating clients based on one’s dosha, or body type.
Drake is a graduate of Irene’s School of Myomassology (Southfield, MI) class of February 2019. He specializes in Deep Tissue massage for relaxation and therapeutic change. He works with his clients to relieve pain, restriction, and stress in the neck, shoulders, upper and lower back. His passion for massage stems from his career as a licensed esthetician. Drake graduated from the Michigan College of Beauty in 2016. He loved giving massages during facials and decided to follow his passion by getting licensed as a Massage Therapist.
Drake looks forward to continuing to learn and grow as a Licensed Massage Therapist and has a passion for learning the art and skill of Myofascial Release and Cranial-Sacral techniques to further help his clients. When not working with clients in the Spa, Drake enjoys being outdoors (when the Michigan climate allows). He loves hiking and camping and especially loves spending time in Sleepy Bear Dunes or Pictured Rocks. He has his sets on traveling more and hopes to travel with his mom to Greece one day to visit the Ancient Ruins. Something you wouldn’t know about Drake right away is that he has mastered the art of crockpot cooking and enjoys sharing his favorite recipes with the team and his clients.
